Sportswomen Miesha Tate

 Miesha Theresa Tate is an American mixed-martial artist. She was born on August 18th, 1986. She is a competitor in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), and is a former UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate previously competed in Strikeforce in which she was the Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion. Tate also served as vice president for ONE Championship. She currently ranks 10 in the UFC women’s bantamweight rankings as on October 3 2022.



 



 Childhood and early life



 Tate was born in the Seattle suburb Tacoma, Washington, to Michelle Tate, and was raised by Michelle and her husband Robert Schmidt. As a young tomboy Tate would often hang out with her fellow boys from her neighborhood at the playgrounds.
